Detailed Instructions for Installing Password Wallet for Windows

Step I: Download Password Wallet

First go to http://www.selznick.com/products/passwordwallet/index.htm to download the Windows version of Password Wallet.

Step 2: Install Password Wallet for Windows

Locate the file you just downloaded and double click to open it. Install Password Wallet for Windows.

If prompted by Windows, press Yes to allow the installation to continue.

Finish the installation.

Password Wallet now installed. To continue using it however, you will need to get a license key.

Step 3: Obtain a license serial number

Go to https://pw-login.ets.ucsb.edu/ and enter your UCSB NetID and Password.

You will be referred to a site with a coupon code. Click on the coupon to purchase your no-cost license.

Select the version of Password Wallet that you are using, Windows, and press the corresponding “Buy” button.

Your selection will show up in the shopping cart with the coupon applied and no charge for the license. Press Checkout to complete the purchase.

You then need to complete some registration information. Required fields have a red asterisk (*).

Press the Next button at the bottom of the screen. A confirmation window will appear.

Press Submit Order to complete the ordering process. An Invoice page will appear. It will include a serial number that you will need to register your copy of Password Wallet. Remember this is for your own use only; do not share the serial number with other users.

Either write down your serial number or wait until you receive a confirmation email with the number. Then proceed to Step 4 to register your copy of Password Wallet using your serial number.

Step 4: Register your copy of Password Wallet for Windows

Select “Register or Purchase” from the Help menu.

Select, "I have a registration number..."

Enter your User Name and Registration Key (serial number) exactly as shown in your confirmation email.

You are done! Password Wallet is ready to use.
