UCSB Campus Point sun reflecting ocean

Welcome to the new UC Santa Barbara IT website!

Here, you'll find everything you need to find answers related to all things IT at UCSB in a clean, easy-to-follow format that reflects our brand. The new site provides a clear message of what we do and where our value lies in serving as a resource and catalyst to support UCSB's mission of research, teaching, and community service by delivering IT infrastructure and enterprise application services.

The website also features a new navigation system with improved menu organization that allows you to select your most relevant role or persona. It is fully responsive with mobile devices, making it easy to navigate on a wide range of web browsers and portable devices.

We will communicate regularly via the News and Events page, as well as our newly branded social media accounts, which will be the go-to news sources in the event of an IT incident or outage.

We intend to communicate regularly via the News and Events page, as well as our newly rebranded social media accounts. These social media accounts will provide UCSB IT news and ongoing updates during service disruptions to our campus services.

You can also subscribe to content relevant to your chosen persona (Student, Faculty, Staff, etc.). We plan to incorporate IT events on the campus-wide calendar at campuscalendar.ucsb.edu so you can join and/or listen to IT-related events and webinars.

The IT at UCSB tab explains our governing bodies and leadership structure.

Use the Security tab to report an incident, or click the Help & Training tab to check the health and system status of our campus applications or submit an IT support ticket. The About section details our staff and various departments, as well as Career Opportunities and ways to give back to IT at UCSB.

To get started, simply select an option from the "I am a ..." dropdown menu on the home page.

We're very proud of the work we've done here, but we're not done yet! Stay tuned for more content, events, and updates from your UCSB IT community.
