On March 7, 2020, UCSB Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) will release the upgraded Single Sign-On (SSO) service. SSO is the service that enables our community to log in to many campus systems including Electronic Timekeeping and UCPath. The SSO upgrade prepares the Identity infrastructure for future modernization.

What you need to know:

The upgrade will include a new login screen that incorporates the UCSB Visual Identity and Branding Guidelines released to the campus in 2018. Below is what you will see when you log in beginning March 7.

You should always watch for look-alike sites that may try to trick you into providing your UCSBnetID and password. The genuine screen will always be hosted at a website ending in ".ucsb.edu." Anything else signals a rogue site. Do not enter your password on a rogue site and notify security@ucsb.edu with the URL of the rogue site.
