In spring 2025, UCSB will begin enforcing Cybersecurity Awareness training compliance in order to meet the UCOP mandate's requirement of 100% compliance. All faculty, staff and student employees should plan ahead to complete the 35-minute training, or risk losing access to important systems like Canvas, Google Suite and Zoom.
Non-compliant users will continue to be redirected to SumTotal to complete their trainings at single sign-on (SSO) until they are able to complete the requirement.

Sent by LMS starting 30 days prior to expiration
Browser warning
Interstitial page warning of pending expiration at every login starting 14 days prior to expiration
Enforcement Notice
Following expiration, user will be directed to LMS at login instead of intended service (Canvas, Google Suite, Timekeeping, etc.)
